Postpartum Depression (PPD)

Postpartum Depression is REAL.. It can happen to all expecting and new moms of all ages. It's not only about losing the baby fat. It's not only about being in a good place with the baby's father. It's about being aware of the feelings of extreme sadness, severe anxiety, hopelessness and inability to gain clarity or confidence to do your day to day stuff. As a new mom you don't want to just look good in your clothes again but you want to feel well and enjoy being a new mommie. Some days it may feel like you're in survival mode and its's taking everything in you just to make it through the day. Take it one day, one task at a time. You will survive this. Remember caring for yourself is as important as caring for your new baby, your business, your husband and older children.
